Arsenal winger Theo Walcott has reacted to missing out on England's Euro 2016 squad, insisting that, while he is disappointed, he accepts manager Roy Hodgson's decision.
The 27-year-old has struggled for regular game time towards the end of the 2015-16 campaign and has not started in the Premier League since February 28.
His last goal for the Gunners came in a 4-0 win over Watford in April and, with Hodgson having decided to go with other options for his provisional 26-man squad, Walcott has accepted the decision and wished the team luck in France.

He Tweeted: "I am of course disappointed not to make the squad, but I have spoken with Roy and respect his decision. I wish Roy and all the team the best of luck for a successful Euro's [sic]."
Gunners team-mate Jack Wilshere, meanwhile, has been selected despite having only made one start this season after an injury-hit campaign.
That came in Sunday's final-day win over Aston Villa and the midfielder has also Tweeted to express his delight at being included.
He wrote: "Absolutely buzzing! I can't wait to meet up with the squad and start preparing for the euros. Thanks for all the messages. #England."
