India will come up against USA in their opening Group A game of the FIFA Under-17 World Cup on Friday evening at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi.
It must be noted that USA had trounced India 4-0 last year at the All India Football Federation’s (AIFF) Youth Cup in Goa.
Coach John Hackworth is known to be an attack minded coach and prefers to line-up his team in a 4-3-3 formation. The team relies heavily on its front three players, namely Josh Sargent, Ayo Akinola and Timothy Weah.
Their full-backs – Jaylin Lindsey and Chris Gloster – are known to bomb forward at each opportunity in order to support the attack.
