UAE's 2018 Russia World Cup qualifier against Iraq next month has been moved from Tehran to Jordanian capital Amman.
Iraq have played the majority of their home fixtures of Asian qualifying in Tehran due to security concerns.
The two sides were scheduled to play the encounter at the PAS Stadium in Tehran on Semptember 5. However, the UAE Football Association (UAE FA) requested the venue to be changed on Wednesday.
No clear reason for the switch of venue has been cited.

Iraq played their home matches against Japan, Australia and Thailand in Iran while facing Saudi Arabia last year in Malaysia.

The game will be UAE’s last in Group B in a disappointing qualifying campaign and will be played a week after they face Saudi Arabia at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.
Edgardo Bauza's troops are fourth in the group, six points off the play-off spot with only two games to go,
UAE will need to win both fixtures and hope for not only other results going in their favour but for a miraculous swing in goal difference as well.
The national team are set to meet in Al Ain on August 18 to prepare for their final two qualifying games.
