WHAT HAPPENED? The USMNT side emerged victorious in the CONCACAF Nations League Finals beating neighbours Canada 2-0. Goals from Chris Richards and Folarin Balogun ensured that the US side marched on to a glorious victory. And to top off the celebrations Chelsea star Christian Pulisic posted a picture with Timothy Weah on his Instagram as the duo can be seen celebrating the iconic victory.
THE BIGGER PICTURE: Pulisic himself had a scintillating tournament despite struggling at the club level with Chelsea. The former Borussia Dortmund star was awarded the accolade of the Tournament's Best Player as he can be seen holding the golden ball in the picture. The quick player also quoted DJ Drama's song 'Forever' in his caption as he wrote: "Took big steps to get here my euro is different!," which is picked up from the American's DJ song released this year.
WHAT NEXT FOR PULISIC? The 24-year-old will look to carry on his form in Chelsea's pre-season tour to the USA.
