Ronaldo scored two superb goals - and assisted another - on Tuesday night to help Al-Nassr to a thrilling 4-3 win against Qatari side Al-Duhail in the AFC Champions League group stages. The victory put the Saudi side on course to reach the knockout stages, and was the perfect way to mark the club's 68th birthday.
WHAT THEY SAID: After the match Ronaldo took to Instagram to share a celebratory message with Al-Nassr fans. "Special night in Riyadh. 3 wins out of 3 and top of the group! Happy 68 years to Al-Nassr," the 38-year-old wrote.
THE BIGGER PICTURE: Ronaldo has enjoyed a superb start to his first full season with the club. His brace on Tuesday took his goals tally for the season to 20 in 19 games in all competitions.
