WATCH: Saka adds third for Gunners (UK only)

This is getting ridiculous now - and there looks to be Tottenham fans already heading for the exits. Bukayo Saka officially transforms this game into a first-half rout in the North London derby, with a little bit of help in the box. He carves a path in from the right and sees a slide tackle attempt to bring down his first shot. It does so, but the ball falls immediately back to the England man, allowing him to round the last figure and squeeze a low finish past Lloris at the far post.

The new number 10 crowns his return and his shirt number - and how! Ansu Fati carves a straight line down the middle of the field, turns two defenders inside out and fires a finish in from outside the box, watching it bounce in at the left post like a stone skimmed across water. His teammates mob him and hoist him aloft. It is sweet release after his injury layoff and Camp Nou roars his name.

WATCH: Smith Rowe hands Gunners lead (UK only)

First blood to the Gunners! Arsenal have the lead inside the first quarter-hour, and it is the sort of finish Tottenham will groan about when they see it back. Bukayo Saka is fed a pass out on the right edge of the penalty area and the England star swings it low in for&nbsp;Emile Smith Rowe, who simply diverts it past Hugo Lloris as he steams into the six-yard area. Mikel Arteta's men have the perfect start.

Raul Jimenez's first goal of the season - and his first since returning from his terrifying skull fracture - gives Wolves the three points at St Mary's. The fact that the Gunners have delivered their best performance of the season against their greatest rivals too cannot be understated. Mikel Arteta's men - led in particular by their young starlets - have absolutely ruled the roost. Nuno Espirito Santo, Harry Kane and company cannot get out of the Emirates Stadium fast enough.

Ramsdale denies Tottenham chance late on

Now that's a sight that Arsenal fans did not need to see when they're side are cruising. Granit Xhaka has been forced off, hobbling from the field with the aid of medical staff. In a cruel blow, he wasn't even involved in the tackle that caused it. Lucas Moura went sprawling after Thomas Partey came in on him. The former clipped the Swiss star's knee and he simply went down in agony. Let's hope it is not as serious as feared.

We're back in action for the second half at the Emirates Stadium - and it's hard to figure out just what Arsenal might do to Tottenham next on the basis of that first half. Spurs fans might give it until the hour mark before beating a hasty retreat, but time will tell.

Sinking ship?

While we wait to see if Tottenham will attempt to flee the Emirates Stadium while currently off the field, their old boss isn't doing too hot either. Jose Mourinho has seen Roma go down two goals inside the first half in Serie A against Lazio, and looks less than impressed about it. Will the Special One turn that around or is he set for a loss - just as his ex-club look to be in London?

Elsewhere in Europe...

A half of football that - depending on how this one goes after the break - will go down in North London derby folklore. Or, at the very least, it will on the Arsenal side of the divide. That was a 45-minute period Tottenham will be hoping to forget. Mikel Arteta looks a man reborn. Nuno Espirito Santo looks like a man just hit with an inflatable hammer over the head several times. Harry Kane just looks sad.

A superb first quarter-hour is all that is needed in the end for Barcelona; they get a morale-boosting win against a Levante side who could well have been a banana-skin today. Goals for Memphis Depay, Luuk de Jong and the heir to the throne Ansu Fati means the Blaugrana have eased the pressure on Ronald Koeman - but the Dutchman still faces a tough road ahead. How long can he retain his position?

Arsenal look like they could run rampant at the Emirates Stadium, and the home crowd is absolutely lapping it up. This time, there's a lovely run down the left edge, with&nbsp;Emile Smith Rowe cutting past the Tottenham defence. He hooks a low ball back at the box's edge and finds Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ready and waiting to simply lash it across goal to the right post. Brilliant.

Three wins to start the league season, followed by two losses - Tottenham certainly haven't done things by halves in the Nuno Espirito Santo season so far. If there was ever a half of football needed to ease the pressure on Ronald Koeman, it was now - and Barcelona have delivered for him on the scoreboard at the very least. Goals for Memphis Depay and&nbsp;Luuk de Jong inside the first quarter-hour has put them firmly in the driving seat in La Liga, with a two-goal lead - and they'll be hopeful that they can maintain that all the way to the end now. Can Levante bring this one back into doubt though?
