WHAT HAPPENED? Herons' owner Beckham reflected on the campaign his side had in 2023, as Inter Miami's season is officially over due to falling short of the postseason this year.

The ex-England international posted an Instagram video highlighting their Leagues Cup victory, Lionel Messi's performances and more.

WHAT THEY SAID: "Another season complete at this incredible football club… and what a season it has been 🏆 I want to personally thank the players, the staff and of course our amazing fans, La Familia, for the special journey that we have been on together. An important chapter in our story, and one we can all be very proud of 🩷🖤 We go again next year… Vamos @intermiamicf #FreedomToDream"

THE BIGGER PICTURE: With Messi's arrival came the Heron's first-ever title in the Leagues Cup, along with an inpsiring U.S. Open cup run that saw them fall in the final to the Houston Dynamo.

Beckham and Miami have a lot to build on now in 2023, with more than just Messi, as the club shapes up for a new era.
