Sevilla became the early La Liga leaders this past weekend as Joan Jordan grabbed his first goal for the club to seal victory at Granada.
The former Eibar man nipped in to sweep home the only goal of the game shortly after half-time, keeping up Sevilla’s perfect start to the season.
Elsewhere, Matchday Two brought saw a shock at the Bernabeu as Real Madrid slumped to a 1-1 draw with Real Valladolid.
Sergi Guardiola pounced two minutes from time to slide in a late equaliser and earn the visitors a point.
And 33-year-old Raul Garcia showed class is permanent in Getafe with a controlled volley that helped Athletic Bilbao to a 1-1 draw of their own.
