FC Koln have been getting in the Super Bowl spirit and have sent a hilarious message on social media to champions the New England Patriots.

A Tom Brady-inspired Patriots came from 28-3 behind against Atlanta Falcons to win Super Bowl LI, the first team in history to recover from such a deficit to take the title.

The result was a significant one on a personal level for Brady too, with the 39-year-old having become the first player to win five Super Bowls over an NFL career.

The likes of Tottenham striker Harry Kane and Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who was in Houston to watch the game, got involved on social media as they followed the event live.

But the award for best tweet over the entire coverage has to go to Bundesliga side FC Koln, who reserved special praise for the New England Patriots.

Crowning Tom Brady the GOAT (greatest of all time), the German outfit posted a picture of their own goat, club mascot Hennes, with the image of the animal also forming part of their badge.
