David Beckham shows off his expert flipping skills on Pancake Day

With his new MLS team still in the works, David Beckham appears to have turned his hand to cookery to keep himself busy.

Tagging celebrity friend Gordon Ramsey as he apparently attempts to impress the world-famous chef, Beckham looked more than a little pleased with himself after cleanly flipping a pancake to applause from his children.

Beckham was back home after watching his old club Manchester United beat Southampton in the League Cup final at Wembley on Sunday.

United secured a dramatic 3-2 victory over the Saints courtesy of a late Zlatan Ibrahimovic winner, earning Jose Mourinho his first major silverware since taking over as manager of the Red Devils.

Beckham also shared pictures of a reunion with ex-United team-mates Gary and Phil Neville in Paris last week, though puzzlingly the trio - along with Beckham's close friend Dave Gardner - were celebrating Phil's birthday despite it falling back in January.

The younger Neville turned 40 on January 21, with Gary having since celebrated his 42nd birthday on February 18.

While in the French capital, Beckham also ran into fellow Paris Saint-Germain alumni Ezequiel Lavezzi, who now plays in the Chinese Super League for Hebei China Fortune.
