The England women's national team welcomed Canada, Germany and Spain in February for the Arnold Clark Cup, the first edition of its new invitational international tournament.
All four nations have previously competed at the SheBelieves Cup, hosted by the U.S. women's national team, but spent the first international break of 2022 in England, playing across three venues: Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium, Norwich City's Carrow Road and Molineux, home of Wolves.
The tournament kicked off on February 17 and concluded on February 23. The winner of the round-robin format competition was England, the Lionesses winning one and drawing two of their three fixtures.

Arnold Clark Cup 2022 TV channel, live stream & how to watch
All of the games at the Arnold Clark Cup were shown across ITV in the United Kingdom.
Five of the six games were broadcast on ITV4, with the exception being England's game with Spain on February 20. That fixture was live on ITV's main channel. Every game was also be available live on ITV Hub, ITV's online video platform.
Further broadcast deals were agreed worldwide, including with CBS in the U.S. and TSN in Canada.
RTVE (Spain), ARD/ZDF (Germany), ESPN (Central & South America) and Charlton (Israel) also had deals to showcase the tournament.
The tournament was available to view for free on the FA Player in all other parts of the world.
Arnold Clark Cup 2022 squads
Canada was the first to announce its squad on February 7, with the absence of the greatest international goal-scorer of all time, Christine Sinclair, a notable one. Sinclair missed the tournament for personal reasons, after her mother recently passed away.
Jorge Vilda revealed the Spain squad on the morning of February 8, which featured 10 players from Barcelona, widely regarded as the best club team in the world right now. One of those was Alexia Putellas, who won the Ballon d'Or in 2021.
GettyThe Germany squad was revealed shortly afterwards, with Lyon's Dzsenifer Marozsan and Chelsea's Melanie Leupolz among the star names missing. Sarina Wiegman then announced the England squad in the afternoon of February 8, with Lucy Bronze, Ellie Roebuck and Leah Williamson all returning. Steph Houghton and Beth England both missed out with injuries.
