A club in the fifth tier of Argentine football is bidding to make football history and get into the Guinness Book of Records for the most sponsors on a single jersey.
Torneo Argentina C side Centenario de Neuquen sported 34 different sponsors on their match jersey last season, but are attempting to go even further with their eye-popping new shirt.
'Mandela's daughter wanted to marry me!'
This year's blue and white jersey features the logos of 50 businesses on the front, back and sleeves of the shirt, leaving a small amount of room for the club crest and the player numbers.
Club president Gustavo Gomez explained to local newspaper LM Neuquen that the positioning of the sponsors is based on how much the businesses pay, but in some circumstances, sponsorship is exchanged for items other than cash.
"Each company pays what it can, and based on that, you try to give them the best possible place," Gustavo said.
"Some are swaps and not for money. For example, we got a quad bike that helps us to get around and sell raffle tickets."
