The disappointment from that moment has now been followed by his exclusion from the squad against Bolton. THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>Wrexham’s ambition to continue their rise through the EFL has led to increased competition in the attacking department. In January, the club bolstered its forward options by signing Jay Rodriguez from Burnley and Sam Smith from Reading. With experienced strikers Steven Fletcher and Jack Marriott also available, Mullin’s place in the squad has become increasingly uncertain.</p>
