<p>Wrexham are set to strengthen their squad after winning promotion to the Championship. Manager Phil Parkinson has admitted his side are targeting Premier League players in a bid to increase the quality <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/wrexham-phil-parkinson-targeting-premier-league-stars-promotion-championship/bltdb6c94e7c3803db0" target="_blank">in the squad as they prepare for life in the second tier of English football</a>.</p>

Cairney has now addressed the situation and admits he's not sure of his next move as he continues to discuss his future with Fulham and a possible renewal.</p>

<p>He told reporters: "We’ll see what happens next week. We’re still in talks, so it’s a weird feeling right now. I don’t know which way to go about it, obviously I want to thank a few people, but at the same time, we’re still in talks.”</p>
