Footballers swapping shirts at the end of games has become a common sight in recent years, but instead of collecting jerseys, McClean hoards boots. McClean wrote on his Instagram Story: "Some of the collection, the rest [are] buried in the pile underneath."On the photo of Ronaldo's boots, he wrote: "Few of the holy grails, the [goat emoji] R9."

WHAT MCCLEAN SAID

McClean has enjoyed a 17-year career playing for the likes of Sunderland, Wigan, West Brom, Stoke and now Wrexham.
