<p>The Red Dragons announced their collaboration with the Southern African country last week in a project which aims to "foster international cooperation and exchange". Founded in 2005, Kick4Life remains the world's only football club dedicated exclusively to social change through a range of activities focused on health, education, gender equality and employability. Per their <a href="https://news.kick4life.org/wrexham-afc-kick4life-fc-announce-club-twinning-partnership/" target="_blank">website</a>, the partnership with Wrexham will aim to "reach 3,000 vulnerable children and young people across both communities."</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>A week-and-a-half on from said announcement, the Red Dragons provided an update on the situation. <p>This latest partnership highlights Wrexham's identity under Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. The Hollywood co-owners have made benefiting the community a big part of their mission since arriving in February 2021, helping <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenney-business-wrexham-owner-generous-donation-break-in/bltf0fe974d46215df3" target="_blank">in-need stores</a> and <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/lists/ryan-reynolds-heart-gold-wrexham-co-owner-huge-donation-medical-bills-ex-red-dragons-star-thailand-accident/bltb3c65242dee404d5" target="_blank">former players</a> alike. That the scope has extended beyond north Wales should be no surprise given the global reach of the Red Dragons.
