After a superb season for Barcelona that ended with them regaining the Champions League via a stunning comeback in the final, Bonmati rubber-stamped her status as one of the best players on the planet as she shone for eventual winners Spain at the World Cup, picking up the Golden Ball as the tournament's best player in the process.
