He is, however, a favourite of Hollywood co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney and boasts plenty of support among a loyal fan base that still consider him to be “super”.</p>

He had injuries at the start of the season, which kept him out.

</p><p>“Let's be fair, he's been one of the main reasons for Wrexham's success. He did hit that bad patch, but I do think that he could come back next season, because he's got it in him. I do think that he's a quality player.”</p>
