<p>Paulo Dybala might soon be looking for a new club as Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi has confirmed that they will listen to offers for <em>La Joya </em>in the upcoming January transfer window. The Argentine joined Roma from Juventus in 2022 and has scored 36 goals in 95 games for <em>I Giallorossi</em>.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Dybala arrived in the Italian capital in 2022 on a three-year contract after tremendous success with fellow Serie A outfit Juventus. The 31-year-old was pivotal in leading Roma to the final of the Europa League in his debut season, scoring five goals in 11 games in the tournament as they lost to Sevilla in the final.</p><p><a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/paulo-dybala-explains-decision-to-reject-lucrative-move-to-al-qadsiah-in-favour-of-roma-stay/blt3403722eacc62172" target="_self">He turned down a bumper offer from Saudi Arabia last summer in favour of running down his contract with Roma</a>, but there have been no developments on a renewal front. Roma would not mind losing the player for free, considering he is the highest-paid player in the squad, and Galatasaray have been linked with a move for Dybala next month.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>Speaking to Mediaset (as quoted by <a href="https://www.calciomercato.com/news/roma-ghisolfi-dybala-se-arriva-offerta-la-ascoltiamo-tre-colpi-p-41734" target="_self">Calciomercato</a>), Ghisolfi confirmed that Dybala is no longer indispensable: "For Paulo, we're at the start of the market and so the rumors have started. We know how important he is for the team and how he feels about Roma. If something comes along, we'll listen, even if he's very attached to us. For the moment, however, there has been no contact [with any other clubs]."</p>

WHAT ROMA DIRECTOR SAID

<p>Dybala was an unused substitute in Roma's recent 4-1 win over Sampdoria in the Coppa Italia Round of 16. He will be hoping to feature in some capacity in Roma's next game, a Serie A encounter at home against Parma on Sunday, December 22.</p>
