Get Me Out of Here! and TV bosses are looking to cash-in, <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-14109507/Why-Premier-League-scouts-targeting-players-Arsenal-bumper-pay-rise-Wayne-Rooney-Beckham-documentary-Coleen.html" target="_blank"><em>The Daily Mail</em></a> says, by making a series about Rooney that would be similar to Netflix's ‘Beckham’, which was released last year.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>It was reported this week that <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/wayne-rooney-star-wrexham-style-documentary-joining-plymouth-ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenney-footsteps/bltba594529b7cdfc8d" target="_blank">Rooney's first season as Plymouth manager will be the subject of a fly-on-the-wall documentary</a> in the style of Disney+'s successful Welcome to Wrexham series.</p>

<p>Rooney took charge of Plymouth in the summer after he was sacked by Birmingham, who were relegated to League One after finishing a point below the ex-England striker's new team. Plymouth are a point clear of the relegation zone after 15 games into the new season.</p>
