<p>Relations between Gyokeres and Sporting appear to have hit a low as speculation over a summer exit continues. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/viktor-gyokeres-furious-striker-rages-sporting-decision-man-utd-arsenal-chelsea-blockbuster-summer-transfer/blt82b73f7ae1d05f39" target="_blank">Gyokeres has been left "furious"</a> by Sporting's decision to go back on a transfer promise that he could leave for £60 million (€70m), with the club now demanding £70m (€83m). The forward reportedly won't return for pre-season, as things stand, and may have already played his last game for the club.</p><p></p>

<p>Gyokeres scored 39 goals in just 33 league games for Sporting in the 2024-25 season as they pipped rivals Benfica to Portugal's Primeira Liga title on the final day of the campaign.
