Now, <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2024/11/06/sporting-lisbon-viktor-gyokeres-63-million-man-utd-chelsea/" target="_blank"><em>The Telegraph</em></a> reports that he will be allowed to leave in the summer for around £63m, despite the fact he has a release clause of €100m (£83m/$107m) in his contract.</p>

<p>Gyokeres only cost Sporting £20m ($25m) and as such, a £63m fee would still mark an immense profit. As a result of his potential asking price, there has been interest from Manchester United, who have <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/ruben-amorim-life-changing-coaching-approach-man-utd/blt3ceee1fdb2259bad" target="_blank">announced the appointment of Sporting boss Ruben Amorim as their next manager</a>, as well as Chelsea and Arsenal. </p>

<p>Gyokeres played 116 games for Coventry in England, and has also played for Swansea and Brighton. During his time in English football, he scored 45 goals, with 43 of them coming for Coventry.</p>
