The West Brom manager seemed to take leave of his senses early on in the clash with Southampton on Friday night. As the ball rolled down the flank nearest to his technical area, Corberan appeared to try to control it, despite it still being in play. The referee subsequently sent him off, as he had interfered with play.

The Baggies are currently in the play-off spots in the Championship and began the day in fifth. However, shortly after seeing their manager sent to the stands, they fell behind, as Ryan Fraser scored for the high-flying Saints, who are continuing to chase automatic promotion following last season's relegation from the Premier League.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Corberan will be suspended after his sending off against the Saints. West Brom are next in action on Tuesday against Plymouth Argyle, and the manager will have to watch from the stands.
