<p>Leeds United defeated Derby County 1-0 on Sunday, with the <em>Whites</em> securing all three points courtesy of a 79th minute winner from Brenden Aaronson. The American, assisted by Joel Piroe, slotted home in the bottom right corner of the net after a stupendous one-two play with the Dutchman inside the Derby box.</p><p>With the result, Leeds are now unbeaten in their last six matches, with five wins.</p>

<p>The American has been in brilliant form in 2024-25 since returning to the club from his loan at Bundesliga side Union Berlin, scoring seven goals and recording two assists.
