<p>Trailing by a goal early in the second half against Yokohama, Curtis Jones made a run from the right side. The midfielder entered the penalty area and exchanged a quick one-two with Mohamed Salah, before Wirtz found himself in a comfortable shooting range. The German sensation swept the ball into the far corner with a perfectly executed first-time shot to open his Liverpool goal account, and Arne Slot's side went on to win 3-1 at the Nissan Stadium.</p>

The match, however, was given the green light to go ahead as public transportation was functioning normally in the city.</p><p></p>
