WHAT ETHAN MBAPPE SAID ABOUT REAL MADRID

The doubts over Ethan's future at the Parc des Princes come after reports that the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/ethan-mbappe-psg-future-up-in-the-air-kylian-prepares-to-complete-real-madrid-transfer/blte2b477b1f82bfdf3" target="_blank">club have frozen contract talks </a>with him after it became clear that Kylian would move to Real Madrid this summer, upon the expiration of his contract. Ethan has<a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/ethan-mbappe-kylian-psg-reaction-news-of-brother-summer-departure-revealed/blt74d0731ab7e06bfa" target="_blank"> previously said</a> he wants to stay with the club.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

For Kylian, his move to Real Madrid should be confirmed by the Spanish champions shortly and following Euro 2024 he will join up with the side to form what will be an electric frontline next season. Ethan's future is less clear, however. Real Madrid are likely to be off the cards for the younger Mbappe brother, but the 17-year-old does reportedly have teams in Bundesliga and La Liga interested in him, as his contract enters its final weeks.
