Trossard blasted it from point blank range but Martinez stuck out a leg to keep the ball out. It was one of three saves the World Cup winner pulled off in the first 45 minutes to ensure his team remained in with a chance of beating the Premier League title challengers.The goalkeeper had been the target of jeers from Arsenal fans throughout the game, having left the north London side to join Villa in 2020.
