<p>Four second-half goals from Mark Skinner's side cancelled out Katja Snoeijs' opener to<a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/ella-toone-rescue-lionesses-star-inspires-man-utd-comeback-wsl-victory-everton/bltb53450c813f043fe" target="_blank"> lift United up to fourth in the Women's Super League</a> on Sunday. Millie Turner bagged an equaliser in the 57th minute, before a double from Toone put the hosts in control. Leah Galton put some extra gloss on the scoreline in the 90th minute to cap off a day when England star Toone brought up her 50th and 51st goals for the club - becoming the first player to reach that total for the club.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Toone initially mishit a left-footed shot before slotting home goal number 50 in Manchester United colours. <p>This result eases the pressure on manager Skinner, who has <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/absolutely-ridiculous-manchester-united-women-fans-complaint-anti-marc-skinner-chants-friendly-psv/bltc136fb7c5d51c096" target="_blank">received criticism</a> for how his side have performed this season. However, after coming second in the WSL last term, they are still underperforming in 2023/24 and are 15 points behind league leaders Manchester City. </p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>United's players, among others, will now head off for another international break before returning to face Chelsea in the semi-final of the FA Cup on April 14. Their next WSL fixture is against Tottenham a week later.</p>
