In a recent video with Sky Sports, Littler was asked to select his best-ever United player, having to choose between Ronaldo, Rooney and many other legends.

At 17 years old Littler wasn't around to see many of the legends he was asked to rank, but his choice of Ronaldo was a convincing one. It also echoes the thoughts of newly appointed minority investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/cristiano-ronaldo-sir-bobby-charlton-sir-jim-ratcliffe-best-man-utd-player-all-time-sir-alex-ferguson/blt6fed70a2eed0134e" target="_blank">chose the Portuguese as the best United player of all time</a>, ahead of even the late great Sir Bobby Charlton.
