<p>Morgan missed from the penalty spot when San Diego were already 3-0 down at Snapdragon Stadium, a final result which left the team ninth in the standings and one place outside of the league 's play-off berths. The team has 11 regular season games left and arresting the current run of form is vital to making the play-offs in November. By the time they play their next game against Morgan's former club Portland Thorns on July 5, she will have celebrated her 35th birthday.</p>
