<p>The Bayern Munich superstar <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/who-is-alphonso-davies-the-canadian-teenager-bayern-beat-out-europes-best-to-buy/1tirifmyoc8md19qu70ty7gx0y" target="_blank">joined the MLS side’s youth ranks at the age of 14</a>, having emigrated to Edmonton from Ghana alongside his family. A senior breakthrough was made in 2016, becoming the youngest player in Major League Soccer at the time.</p>

<p>A record-breaking deal took Davies to Germany in 2019, with close to 200 appearances for Bayern taken in since then – claiming five Bundesliga titles and a Champions League crown along the way.
