USWNT veteran Alyssa Naeher makes NWSL history following Chicago Red Star’s victory over Seattle Reign

<p>Naeher played in goal for the Chicago Red Stars in Saturday's victory and brought up her 50th win for the club, the most for any goalkeeper at a single club in the NWSL. WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Chicago have now won both of their opening two games of the season, having beaten Utah Royals 2-0 on the opening weekend. Naeher is a hugely experienced campaigner and has won the World Cup twice with the USWNT. </p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>Naeher has won 102 caps for the USWNT and is only the third goalkeeper to win a century of appearances for the country, along with Hope Solo and Brianna Scurry. </p>
