USMNT star Christian Pulisic reportedly set for pay raise as winger nears new contract that would keep him at AC Milan through 2029

<p>Christian Pulisic is reportedly set to sign a contract extension with Milan that will give the U.S. men's national team star a pay raise. Pulisic, who is Milan's leading scorer, reportedly makes $4.56 million (€4 million) per season, but the new deal will bump that to $5.7M (€5 million) annually.</p><p>The new deal commits Pulisic to Milan through 2029, with his prior deal set to expire in 2027 - although Milan did have an option to extend for one more season. The club is reportedly thrilled with Pulisic's performance this season and are glad to have him signed up for the foreseeable future.</p><p>Pulisic's new deal was first reported by <a href="https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Calciomercato/Milan/29-04-2025/per-pulisic-rinnovo-da-vero-bomber-offerta-per-theo-ma-al-ribasso.shtml?refresh_ce" target="_blank">Gazzetta dello Sport.</a></p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>It's no surprise to see Pulisic tie his future to Milan given his happiness at the club. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/lists/christian-pulisic-exclusive-ac-milan-usmnt-paramount-%2B-documentary-mauricio-pochettino-chelsea-dortmund/blt420b69236dfe5a60" target="_blank">The USMNT star told <strong>GOAL </strong>earlier this year</a> that he's found a second home in Italy, one that has brought back the confidence and joy that had faded a bit with Chelsea in London.</p><p>"To be honest, it really started since coming here," he says of his time in Milan. "With my faith in God, I feel like I'm in such a more peaceful place off the field, away from everything. I can say that pretty comfortably."</p><p>Pulisic has 16 goals and 11 assists in all competitions this season and has already helped lead Milan to a Supercoppa Italiana trophy. He scored his 50th goal for Milan at the weekend.</p><p>It has largely been a frustrating season for Milan, though, as the club faces a real fight for a European spot in the final weeks of the Serie A season. The silver lining, though, is that Milan are set to play Bologna in the final of the Coppa Italia, with the winner of that earning a Europa League place.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>With his goal against Venezia this past weekend, Pulisic now has 50 across his nearly two seasons in Milan. Only Lautaro Martinez (54) and Ademola Lookman (50) have also reached that mark.</p>

<p>Even with this past weekend's win over Venezia, Milan still sit six points out of sixth place and eight points away from that fourth and final Champions League spot with just four games left to play. That means every game going forward is a must-win if the club wants to qualify for Europe via the league route, and that continues on Monday against Udinese.</p>
