WHAT REYNA SAID

<p>Reyna can't have been surprised at starting that semifinal on the bench, given he has <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/zero-minutes-for-gio-reyna-usmnt-concacaf-nations-league-showdown-with-jamaica-as-he-s-left-on-nottingham-forest-bench-yet-again/blt51bdfbbc2d3426af" target="_blank">amassed less than 40 minutes of football at Forest</a> since joining on loan in January. His contributions may make Berhalter think twice about benching him for the final, though, as the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/gregg-berhalter-usmnt-fans-loser-coach-seconds-concacaf-nations-league-semifinal-embarrassment-jamaica/blt60d181262e9d2d6b" target="_blank">USMNT coach was widely criticised</a> for several calls on Thursday. At club level, Reyna will hope his efforts were seen by manager Nuno Espirito Santo, who has thus far sacrificed the American's game time amid a need for immediate results.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE
