<p>The midfielder was given the day off by the Blues to receive the National Order of Merit from the country's president, Daniel Noboa. WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Due to the honour, Caicedo missed his team's training session on the eve of their Conference League semi-final clash with Djurgardens. The London side are 4-1 up on aggregate from the first leg before the return fixture at Stamford Bridge on Thursday.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>Enzo Maresca said on Wednesday that his team have no fresh injury concerns heading into the game, with young striker Marc Guiu possible returning.</p><p>"Everyone is fit and Marc Guiu could even be involved in tomorrow’s squad. We are not sure yet, we will make a decision on him, but he is getting closer," he told reporters. "Maybe it’s better for Marc to have a few more days of training, but he is very close to being back with us. That will be very good news for us and for Marc."</p>

WHAT MARESCA SAID

<p>Caicedo came off the bench at half-time in the first game last week and could be rested again with Chelsea confident of booking a place in the final.</p>
