However, since the arrival of Kylian Mbappe, the Brazilian has been losing importance in the squad and is considering leaving the club.  </p>

<p>Rodrygo has not featured for Real Madrid since their Copa del Rey final loss to Barcelona after he had been subbed off at half-time by Carlo Ancelotti. The Brazilian has been declared fit since last week; however, he told the staff that he 'didn't feel strong or up to playing' in the La Liga Clasico, as per <a href="https://www.marca.com/futbol/real-madrid/2025/05/11/rodrygo-dijo-durante-semana-sentia-fuerzas-jugar-clasico.html" target="_blank">Marca</a>.  </p>
