The right-back shed light upon how his first few days have been with the club, praising the quality of the players and describing how the demanding style of training under new head coach Xabi Alonso is different than what he was used to at Liverpool.</p>

<p>Speaking to Madrid's official channel during a training session, Alexander-Arnold said: "[The players] have a lot of quality. The ball moves very quickly. Obviously, it's very different from what I'm used to. They're stars, but it's fine, I like the change. I'm enjoying being part of it. I feel very good and I'm happy to be here."</p>

WHAT TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD SAID

<p>He is expected to start at right-back and make his debut for Madrid in their Club World Cup opener on Wednesday against Al-Hilal, although it remains to be seen if Alonso uses a back-three or a back-four system.</p>
