Tottenham table £50m Mohammed Kudus bid with West Ham star ready to prioritise arch rivals amid Chelsea interest

<p>According to <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6462846/2025/07/05/mohammed-kudus-tottenham-west-ham/" target="_blank"><em>The Athletic</em></a>, the Hammers received a £50m bid for their star player from Spurs but they have rejected the offer. Kudus' current contract runs until 2028 and the player reportedly has a release clause of £80m for European clubs, £85m for Premier League teams and £120m for Saudi clubs.</p>

<p>The report also adds that Kudus is keen on moving to the North London club after <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/tottenham-hold-positive-mohammed-kudus-talks-with-ghana-international-open-to-leaving-west-ham/blt6948666c28bd3dc5" target="_blank">holding positive talks with the club</a>. He has made up his mind to join the Spurs, despite <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/chelsea-rival-tottenham-mohammed-kudus-not-ruling-out-swoop-for-west-ham-star-spurs-50m-bid/bltd6201e3fcada3fde" target="_blank">strong interest from giants Chelsea</a>. Other than the two London clubs, Kudus has also attracted interest from Manchester United and Newcastle United.</p>

<p><a href="https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1941748195022819794" target="_blank">Fabrizio Romano</a> reports that despite the initial rejection from West Ham, Spurs are expected to come up with a fresh bid for the 24-year-old as they are determined to sign him after getting the green signal from new manager Thomas Frank.</p>
