WHAT THIAGO SILVA SAID

<p>After moving out of Stamford Bridge, the 40-year-old returned to his homeland and signed a two-year deal with top-division Brazilian club Fluminense. Silva appeared in 20 matches across all competitions including 15 in the Brazilian league as <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/chelsea-thiago-silva-relegation-fluminense/bltcce265265fc6fd25#csd85ecbe767597f8d" target="_blank">Fluminense escaped relegation on the last day after beating Palmeiras 1-0</a>. Earlier in September, the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/chelsea-icon-thiago-silva-all-smiles-blues-training-ground-return-following-summer-exit/bltdebb392930c19904" target="_blank">ex-Brazil international had returned to the Premier League club</a> to meet his old mates. </p>
