Guirassy has caught the attention of several top European clubs with his performances in 2023-24. In a recent interview with <a href="https://sport.sky.de/fussball/artikel/serhou-guirassy-spricht-bei-sky-ueber-einen-moeglichen-wechsel-zum-bvb/13152211/34942" target="_blank">Sky</a>, the 28-year-old spoke highly of Bundesliga giants Dortmund, describing them as a "very big club" that he can see himself playing for in the future.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Speaking to Sky, Guirassy said: "Definitely. It's a very big club. But nothing has progressed, I'm still under contract with VfB. I don't know. I was with the national team, now it's time for vacation. We will know in a few weeks what will happen."

WHAT GUIRASSY SAID

Guirassy's potential move to Dortmund would fit well with the club's tradition of nurturing top talent and giving them a platform to shine on the big stage. BVB would be gaining a potent striker who could help them compete more fiercely in domestic and European competitions having fallen short in both last term.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Guirassy scored 28 times in the Bundesliga last season, becoming the league's second-top scorer behind Harry Kane. It is his best return since moving to Germany, smashing his 11 strikes from the last campaign.
