The German soccer icon, who was in Los Angeles, attended the NBA game and met with Doncic in the arena's tunnel after the final buzzer. WHAT TONI KROOS SAID

<p>Much like Toni Kroos, Luka Doncic also has a past with Real Madrid albeit their basketball team when he joined their youth academy in 2015. He also became the club’s youngest player to make their debut for their senior team at the age of 16. He spent three years with Real Madrid before he decided to enter the NBA draft in 2018, where he was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks and then traded to the Dallas Mavericks. </p>

<p>While Toni Kroos may have retired, his successors at Real Madrid are thriving with the Los Blancos aiming to win a treble this season. They’re level on points with Barcelona in the La Liga, behind only on the head-to-head goal difference for those two clubs.
