<p>The Ajax wonderkid made her debut for the USWNT as they <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-in/lists/uswnt-player-ratings-vs-south-korea-lily-yohannes-crystal-dunn/blt3e89b133016ac5cd" target="_blank">won 3-0 against South Korea in a friendly</a> on Tuesday night, giving Emma Hayes two victories in as many games with the Americans. After the game, Yohannes exclaimed that her national team debut couldn't have gone by nearly as well without the goal.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Speaking to the media, the 16-year-old said: "It's a dream come true really. I played this scenario out in my head, like, how many times before this game. Just having the idea of coming on and scoring. That was just really amazing. WHAT YOHANNES SAID

<p>Crystal Dunn scored in the 13th minute, and Sophia Smith extended the lead in the 67th minute. Yohannes replaced Korbin Albert five minutes after Smith's goal, and she didn't take long to break the mark. Ten minutes after coming on as a substitute, Yohannes scored her first goal for the USWNT, giving them a 3-0 lead.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>The 16-year-old impressed for Hayes' side and it is possible that she could potentially get the call-up for the 2024 Paris Olympics as they look to further improve their record in the tournament.</p>
