Caroline Weir broke the deadlock for the hosts in the seventh minute of the game as they carried a one-goal lead into half-time. Catarina Macario then converted two penalties in a span of five minutes after the break to seal a win for her team.</p>

<p>Despite extending their winning streak in Europe, manager Bompastor claimed that she was not happy with the performance of the team in the first 45 minutes and revealed what pep talk she used to inspire her players to stage the comeback.</p>

<p>Speaking to reporters, the French coach said: "I was not happy at half-time. I said: 'We need to be on the same page, we only have 45 minutes to achieve our goal and after you will be on your vacation so just give everything you have'."</p>
