<p>Tension between Wednesday and old adversaries United always run high, with local bragging rights up for grabs. Supporters have been known to cross the boundary of acceptable behaviour at times, with on-field rivalry often spilling into the stands.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>That was the case when the Owls and Blades locked horns at Bramall Lane on Sunday. An image has circulated on social media of a supposed Wednesday fan goading United followers with a message on his phone that read "Where’s Baldock?".</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>Former United defender <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/premier-league-george-baldock-sheffield-united-found-dead-panathinaikos-greece/blt98e53542a8eb261c" target="_blank">Baldock passed away on October 9 at the age of 31</a>, having been found lifeless in the pool of his Athens home five months after completing a move to Greek side Panathinaikos. He will forever be fondly remembered by the Blades after taking in 219 appearances for the club – with many of those coming in the Premier League.</p>

BALDOCK PASSES AWAY AT 31

<p>Wednesday have reacted to the behaviour of certain individuals by saying in an official club statement: "The club are aware of an image circulating on social media and roundly condemn this abhorrent act.
