Alisson explained how his Liverpool side's <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/news/liverpool-record-biggest-ever-win-over-man-utd-gakpo-nunez-salah--firmino-7-0/bltb13b858c0c880b54" target="_blank">7-0 drubbing</a> of United last season should give their opposition huge motivation and 'fire' to respond. The Brazilian was keen to play down the likelihood of a repeat of last year's humiliation of the Red Devils, insisting that United will be doing everything to ensure they get a result.

I don’t know much about the Man Utd players but I’m sure they are coming here to try and get the result from us.”
