<p>Manchester United are all set to demolish their iconic Old Trafford home as they plan to build a brand new 100,000-capacity stadium by splashing out £2bn. On Tuesday morning, the Red Devils released a promo video of the new ground, with club legend Gary Neville lending his voice to the two-minute-long clip. While a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/spiderman-man-utd-fans-disappointed-ugly-plans-100-000-capacity-new-stadium-old-trafford-demolished/blt7de03710a614de66" target="_blank">section of fans did not approve of INEOS' design</a>, Amorim revealed his true feelings about the new stadium when quizzed on Wednesday.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Speaking to reporters, the Portuguese coach said: "It's an amazing stadium as it should be, but it is in five years. We focus on the present. I am really excited to win things in Old Trafford."</p>

WHAT RUBEN AMORIM SAID

<p>The 40-year-old also opened up on the kind of relationship he shares with the club's part owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe as he added: "It's really good since day one, we are really blunt and honest with each other, that is our character, similar. I have always felt support of the board from Sir Jim, I cannot tell you the conversations: simple, clear, honest."</p><p>Ratcliffe had earlier defended Amorim amid the club's poor run of form while <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/tells-me-f-ck-off-sir-jim-ratcliffe-admits-ruben-amorim-not-perfect-man-utd-part-owner-lifts-lid-training-ground-exchanges-with-head-coach/blt2f5b9a17568c7a86#cse5624ad5b8ad45a6" target="_blank">also admitted the boss can be emotional at times</a>.</p>
