The Brazil star has now been involved in at least three goals in his last two consecutive league matches, following up on his two goals and two assists against Valencia on November 11. The others are Gonzalo Higuain, who did so once, and current Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who managed it an incredible seven times.

Rodrygo therefore has seven goal contributions in his last two La Liga matches, marking an incredible turn of form after a slow start to the season. He had recorded just two in his opening 12 league appearances.
