The Brazil international <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/ballon-dor-2025-power-rankings/bltd009fae5576d751f" target="_blank">has been among the best players in the world this season</a>, becoming a crucial part of head coach Hansi Flick's plans. However, his new release clause could spark rumours of a premature departure in the future.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Contract negotiations between Barcelona and Raphinha remain in the early stages, but key differences are already emerging. The SPL side are ready to offer a four-year deal worth €200m for the player whose contract expires in June 2027.</p>
