The 39-year-old lasted just 25 games at Plymouth, having previously <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/wayne-rooney-league-one-tom-brady-birmingham-american-board-mistake/blt1886ca199e1e50c4" target="_blank">managed only 83 days alongside NFL legend Tom Brady at Birmingham</a>.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Rooney initially left himself open to offers, admitting that he could be <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/wayne-rooney-open-surprising-route-back-management-man-utd-legend-waits-right-club-83-day-25-game-coaching-disasters-birmingham-plymouth/bltf1c514ca14d0b327" target="_blank">persuaded to fill roles with U21 or backroom teams</a>. <p>With that in mind, Coleen has told the <a href="https://open.spotify.com/show/4j7renjisekxYJvogJTv95 " target="_blank"><em>Nicky Byrne HQ</em></a> podcast when asked about <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/drop-down-league-two-wayne-rooney-coaching-return-prediction-man-utd-legend-told-how-prove-himself/bltee14b06776bc23b7" target="_blank">Rooney’s short-term plans</a>: “At the minute, he's really happy on TV, podcasts and just being at home. Plymouth was a bit far. It hasn't worked out at certain clubs. It's something he's passionate about. It's something he might revisit. He's passionate about TV.”</p>

WHAT COLEEN ROONEY SAID

<p>Coleen is enjoying having Wayne around a bit more at present, with the mother of four having grown accustomed to the WAG lifestyle which often sees partners spending a lot of time on the road.
