<p>According to Relevo's <a href="https://x.com/MatteMoretto/status/1927278733775327293?t=1ORunfX-0f4INeTeiiemMw&amp;s=08" target="_self"><em>Matteo Moretto,</em></a> Real Madrid are set to trigger Como midfielder Nico Paz's buy-back clause. Como, who were promoted to Serie A for the 2024/25 season, signed the midfielder to strengthen Cesc Fabregas' side for €6 million. However, Madrid held a buy-back clause worth €8 million and could trigger it within a few days. </p>

<p>A graduate of the Real Madrid youth academy, Nico Paz signed for Como in the summer of 2024. Under the guidance of Cesc Fabregas, Paz quickly became one of the standout players in the league. He scored six goals and provided eight assists this season, earning him the Serie A Best U-23 Player award. A versatile player who can operate as an attacking midfielder or a winger, Xabi Alonso could be tempted to bring him back to the Bernabeu. </p><p></p>
